‘Ski and Smile’ children’s ski courses
Come and see for yourself what our ski school has to offer!
All our courses start in Inneralpbach. Beginners practise in our Kinderland area by the Galtenberg T-bar lift, which is exclusively available to our ski school and includes a covered conveyor belt. More advanced children ski with their group throughout the entire SkiJuwel resort. Coming from the village of Alpbach, it takes just two minutes longer to reach Inneralpbach.
Children’s ski courses for beginners and advanced skiers are available for children aged 4 and over.
Courses for beginners start on Sundays and Mondays, whilst courses for advanced skiers run daily; ski course times are from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm, including lunchtime supervision and a healthy snack. On Thursdays, the exciting final race takes place, followed by the prize-giving ceremony at the Medal Plaza in the ‘ski and smile’ Kinderland.

Our ‘RRS’ junior programme
‘RRS’ stands for Race, Ride & Style and offers ski course participants these trendy activities as part of the ski course.
Once your juniors have been placed in groups at the children’s ski school (Sunday and Monday), they will automatically be enrolled in the ‘JUNIOR RRS Programme’ from Tuesday onwards. This is, of course, subject to the skiing ability of this group. On Monday, the ski instructor will then introduce the group to the “RRS” programme and explain all the details.
- Group allocation via the ski school is required
- A skiing ability of Level 3+ is required
- The ‘RACE’ (giant slalom), ‘RIDE’ (skiing through the woods) and ‘STYLE’ (trying out the fun park) sessions take place between Tuesday and Friday.

From beginner to expert in six steps!
The LevelCard supports the ‘Safe on Ski’ initiative! In six steps, our qualified ski instructors will guide your children from beginner to expert. We teach in accordance with the technical guidelines of the Austrian Ski School Association. All children and juniors at the Alpbachtal Ski School receive this LevelCard. At the end of the ski course week, the ski instructor will stick the level achieved onto the card. Please let us know your children’s level on your next visits.
